D.1.1 First report on successful deposition of metallic clusters on flat surfaces & TEM grids in Month 10
D.1.2 First report on successful deposition of metallic clusters on large-area and specialist surfaces in Month 11
D.1.3 First report on successful deposition of clusters deposited on SPE substrates (CMEs) in Month 14
D.1.4 First report on successful upscaling of tailored NPs production by multiple magnetron sources on powders and electrodes in Month 22
Imaging with STEM and AFM has been performed showing the successful deposition of Au-Ag bimetallic cluster on Si wafers & TEM grids. Series of Au/Ti alloy clusters with different structures have been obtained by varying the flow rates of condensation gas (He) (D1.1).
Nanostructured zirconia (ZrO2) clusters have been deposited on flat gold films (Au-Flat) by supersonic cluster beam deposition (SCBD) using an apparatus equipped with a pulsed microplasma cluster source (PMCS) (D1.2).
Pt and Au clusters have been deposited on polyaniline (PANI), polypyrrole polymer substrates as well as ZnO nanorods (CMEs) (D1.3).
AuCu, PdTi and PdNi bimetallic clusters have been deposited on MgO and gamma alumina powders by multiple magnetron sources at TCL. These clusters are now under catalytic testing for CO oxidation and acetylene hydrogenation (D1.4).
